Just like last year, Boook Publishing's books have won at prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Award. Süteményeskönyv (Desserts and Sweets) by Bereznay Tamás has won one, Színek és ízek (Colours and Tastes) by Viktor Segal has won three awards.

Four awards have been given to Boook Publishing's books at the world's most important competition for cookbooks. The latter has also won 2nd prize at "Best Cookbook Eastern Europe" category, which is the highest ranking a Hungarian cookbook ever got at the world's most prestigious cookbook competition.

More than 154 countries have entered the Gourmand World Cookbook Award competition this year. Hungary has been represented by various publishing houses, but among them, Boook Publishing has been most successful, winning 4 awards and the highest ranking (first prize in "Best Cookbook Eastern Europe" category went to the enlarged, Russian edition of the Larousse Encyclopedia of Gastronomy).

Background information
Boook Publishing has been publishing cookbooks since 2008. To the four titles represented in the portfolio, more volumes will be added in 2011.
